Fast food in new york city, 1980

The New York City Department of Taxation took pictures of every building in the five boroughs of New York City in 1940 and again in 1980. The photographs were taken to improve the process of determining and recording property value assessments. Displayed here are some of the fast food restaurants they captured, showcasing the diverse (and often haphazard) designs used within the same brand.
