John margolies’ roadside photos

John Margolies (1940-2016) was an architectural critic and curator who extensively photographed roadside buildings and scenes across the United States. He captured several of fast food restaurants, and represented here are some of the brands, styles, and architectural designs featured in White Burgers, Black Cash. His collection of nearly 12,000 images is free for public use at the Library of Congress.
